All of the Breakdown Assist car and vehicle breakdown policies include Alternative Transport and Emergency Overnight Accommodation. If your vehicle breaks down more than 20 miles from home and your vehicle cannot be repaired the same working day Breakdown Assist can reimburse up to £250 alternative transport costs, which may include hire (this is increased to £750 throughout Europe if you have European cover) or up to £500 for overnight accommodation (£75 per person or £150 for a lone traveller).
