Coniston Round is a spectacular high mountain route with well-established paths, stunning lake views and frequent trail markers in the Lake District. This walk passes some of the most breathtaking scenery the Lake District National Park has to offer. The walk starts in the village of Coniston which stands on Church Beck, and where the grave of John Ruskin, the artist, is in the village churchyard.
An easy walk through ancient woodland and wildflower meadows alongside the River Heddon in Exmoor, North Devon. Beautiful countryside and wildlife. The marked route starts and finishes by the National Trust car park and Gift Shop, and follows a graded pathway and footpaths across easy terrain.
